Epilogue: The Invasion
In a special room within Damian's citadel, adorned with plants and gold, Ygerna lay upon a stone alter surrounded by candles. Her body, long since lifeless, was kept perfectly preserved without involving any sort of embalming thanks to magic. She laid there, her hands on her waist, motionless. Suddenly in the silence of the empty room, one could hear a single low thump. After that the tranquility of silence was restored for a moment, only for another to occur. Then another, then another, then another, until a steady rhythm had begun. Ygerna, seemingly lifeless, began to stir, as though she were asleep and w
Chapter 12: Betrayal
When Matthew exited the portal, he found himself in a large room surrounded with chairs, one of which sat behind a larger oak table with a large book. It looked to be some sort of courtroom. Standing in the middle of this room were 10 people, seven of them, from what he could tell, were Paladins of the Divine Order. They stood silently, surrounding three individuals in the middle of the room itself. One of them he immediately identified as Zandalor himself but the other two were a bit more difficult. Kneeling on the floor, arms handcuffed behind their back, was a young woman wearing dark colored robes with sh
Chapter 11: The Hall Of Echoes
Matthew had exited the vortex and immediately found himself in a familiar place. It was a large Canyon with a large river flowing through the bottom. The ground was covered in dead trees, the ground itself was barren and the sky was dark and overcast. It seemed like the place he was in his dream, but this place was cold and dead. Matthew opened his pack and saw that the shielding charm was glowing with energy. It seemed as though the shield was doing its job, protecting him from whatever force brought death to whomever trespassed in this lifeless place. He took his Dragon form and flew into the Cany
Chapter 10: The Patriarch
Matthew stood on a large outcropping of rock, staring at the waterfall that emptied into a small lake. It was here he would find the one single being who could help him. 'About damn time too!' he thought to himself. One year. One year he spent searching and searching. And for the entire year he traveled around the world, from the smallest islands to the mightiest nations. He could not truly complain, though. For the last year he met up with old friends and made new friends all over the world, some whom he could only consider acquaintances, others that were very close to him. Along the way, he also had m
Chapter 9: Ba'al
After four hours of following the river, Matthew found himself in the Orobas Fjords once again. It was about 7:00 AM and though he wanted to take a rest, he knew that he had no time. He had to get to Broken Valley as soon as possible. Even now the Black Ring was searching for the sigil, and he had to get it first. He flew through the fjords, past the harbor, until finally he reached the area where the river met the sea. He flew toward a small island and landed on it. He took a good long look at the large waterfall which led to Broken Valley and wondered how he was going to proceed. 'According to Maxos' Journal,
Chapter 8: Aleroth
Matthew ran to the balcony and looked to see a flying fortress floating midair in front of him. It was armed with many different weapons platforms and several gunships flying over them. He stepped onto the railing and jumped off of the balcony. As he fell he spread his arms and focused his energy on becoming a Dragon. Suddenly his body was covered in fire and he transformed. When the flames disappeared, his body had been transformed into that of a Dragon. The same exact shape as he had taken in his dream. He flapped his wings to gain altitude and he flew toward the flying fortress.

Chapter 7: The Maxos Temple
For several minutes they flew, heading northeast. Matthew had to give Tails credit, the Tornado was certainly a fast aircraft. He could see the mountains that they were headed to. Within minutes they were well in the mountain range. They were what anyone would expect from mountains. It was so far away from civilization and so remote, one could scarcely tell if civilization even existed. The colors of the rocks ranged from shades of brown to gray, covered with white snow at the top. Little vegetation grew save some grass or bushes that would survive the cold. They circled the area, searching for the Tem
Chapter 6: A Stranger In A Strange Land
This Temple looked just like the Temple in Broken Valley except this one was completely covered in vegetation. Matthew looked around to see that this temple wasn't surrounded by rock walls as the first one was, but rather a lush forest. Wasting no time, he turned until the compass in his HUD pointed Southwest. He nodded in satisfaction and began his long trek towards this 'Station Square'. As he walked through the forest he mused on this human colony, 'If I remember correctly, Station Square was founded in 8: 70 Blessed, about 60 years ago, here on South Island. From the start it was rather
Chapter 5: No Going Back
The temple itself look magnificent, even if its age was clearly seen. Its beauty increased by the light of the setting sun. The entire place seemed to have been built into the mountain itself, as only the temples front could be seen. Just by looking at it, Matthew could tell that the architecture was draconic in nature. The Temple was practically covered in Dragon statues, especially a large draconic head sticking out of the temples front roof itself with two claws grasping at the twin towers that stood on opposite sides of the Temple entrance at different elevations. This giant stone head seem to be glar
Chapter 4: The Road To Dragon Hood
He stood in front of the ruined road that led to the citadel tower, which was also in ruins. 'It figures.' He thought to himself while staring at the citadel. He continued to stare at the road and the tower trying to figure out how he was going to reach it. But then realized that he could climb some of the rubble in order to reach a section of the road that was not completely destroyed. He approached the rubble and started climbing starting out with a chunk of it that was closer to the tower. When he reached the top of the collapsed section, he noticed that he could not simply climb the ruined r
